Browning Cenex Reflex Elastics

I have been using the impressive Browning Cenex Reflex range of hollow elastics in almost all aspects
of my fishing for a little over a year now; I have used other brands of hollow elastic in the past but find the Cenex Reflex is second to none, furthermore I would now be reluctant to use anything else!

There are 4 things I look for in my elastics, these are: strength, stretch, smoothness and life span. In all departments the Cenex Reflex seems out perform all its rivals with ease.

The Cenex Reflex Elastics come in 5 different colours, which differentiates the diameters and strengths as the table below shows.

To complement these fantastic elastics I use the brilliant new Browning Xitan Gum Connectors; which are an alternative to the Browning Dacronnectors. The Dacron material is replace with power gum, which is kinder to the line than the Dacron material, and always stands clear of the end of the pole, eliminating wrap over’s.

How to attach both Gum and Dacron Connectors

1. Thread the elastic through the bottom end loop on the connector.

2. Tie a figure of eight knot.

3. Moisten the knot and pull tight (Moistening should prevent damage and also keep the knot central in the loop).

4. Pull the Gummy sheath down over the knot.

5. Trim off the loose end.

6. The end product.
